Ovise has partnered with a leading security organization who are looking for a seasoned Vulnerability Manager to help them stay ahead of any threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and oversee vulnerability scans across systems, applications, networks, and cloud environments.
- Analyze scan results, assess risk, and prioritize vulnerabilities for remediation.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement timely remediation and mitigation measures.
- Support Incident Response by identifying vulnerabilities tied to security events.
- Ensure alignment with regulatory and industry compliance requirements, maintaining policies and procedures.
- Prepare and deliver reports on vulnerability trends, risks, and mitigation progress for stakeholders.
- Stay current on vulnerability management best practices and tools to continuously improve our security program.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-5 years of experience in vulnerability management, information security, or a similar role.
- Proficiency with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Qualys, Nessus, Rapid7) and knowledge of prioritization frameworks (e.g., CVSS).
- Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration and reporting.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
