We're currently partnered with a company that provides naval and maritime forces with the most intelligent Autonomous Surface Vessels available, and are helping them scale out their security team with some early key hires.
I'm in search of a well-rounded Technical Support Leader to be part of the founding support team located in Austin, TX. You will work alongside the Head of Security & IT teams remediate any support issues as quickly as possible. This is an onsite role at their HQ, and has a base salary range of $150k-$190k with an attractive equity piece. *Must be US Citizen due to the nature of the work.
What you'll do:
-Manage and maintain all IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, data centers, cloud environments, and telecommunications systems.
-Ensure the reliable and secure operation of IT systems by implementing best practices in configuration, monitoring, and management.
-Oversee system backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
-Ensure IT systems are secure by implementing and monitoring cybersecurity measures, such as firewalls, network segmentation, data encryption, and endpoint protection.
What you need:
-5+ years of experience in IT management, system administration, or a similar role.
-Experience managing IT teams and overseeing large-scale IT projects.
-Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, networking, and cybersecurity best practices.
-Familiarity with IT compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO, ITIL, and COBIT.
