We are seeking an experienced Application Administrator to join our team, focusing on the installation, configuration, and management of application services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user management, system upgrades, and proactive process improvement. This role is critical for maintaining the integrity, security, and performance of our application services and requires a proactive approach to user support and system maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Application Administration withinServiceNow and Okta
- Manage all aspects of application services, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.
- Oversee user management, role assignments, and permissions within the application environment.
- Implement and maintain best practices for system configurations to enhance performance and usability.
- System Upgrades and User Changes:
- Perform regular system upgrades, manage user changes, and implement new functionalities based on business requirements.
- Ensure timely and accurate application of updates and configurations as per the change management process.
- Incident and Change Management:
- Follow established incident and change management protocols to resolve issues and implement system changes efficiently.
- Document incidents, changes, and solutions accurately for future reference.
- Process Improvement:
- Proactively identify opportunities for process enhancements within application services and collaborate with stakeholders to implement these improvements.
- Create and document business processes related to applications to ensure clarity and efficiency.
- User Support and Communication:
- Respond to end-user requests related to application services through various channels (phone, email, MS Teams, or service desk tickets).
- Communicate application issues and system updates to internal staff promptly and accurately.
- Security and Maintenance:
- Identify and implement necessary security updates and vulnerability resolutions for application services.
- Conduct routine maintenance and system checks to ensure optimal performance and security compliance.
