We seek an individual with a robust background in infrastructure coupled with a strong enthusiasm for security, tasked with ensuring the smooth functioning of our PC, network, telecommunications, and end-user systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of PCs, servers, printers, network devices, and software to guarantee optimal performance.
- Deliver exceptional technical support to all computer users, resolving hardware and software issues in person or remotely.
- Oversee the management of our hosted VoIP solutions and web conferencing applications, ensuring effective configurations and user assistance.
- Collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot and address any equipment or software challenges.
- Spearhead the server and workstation patching initiatives by researching and implementing essential updates to uphold system security.
- Administer remote management tools, including desktop management and service desk software, to enhance overall operational efficiency.
Required Skills
- 2-3 years of experience in an administrative capacity, such as Systems or Windows administration.
- Proficient in developing policies and managing antivirus solutions.
- Familiarity with spam filtering and server patching techniques.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to promote teamwork and collaboration.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills to ensure efficient operations.
- Experience in maintaining and optimizing antivirus systems.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy is advantageous.
- Experience with the administration and security of Office 365.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Solid documentation skills to support operational processes.
- Experience with ticketing systems to effectively manage support requests.
