Mostly remote but must live within 1 hour of Frederick, MD for montly onsite meetings

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in cloud native technologies and a strong understanding of both development and operational processes. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our deployment pipelines, ensuring system reliability, and implementing best practices in security and configuration management.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and reliable infrastructure using cloud native technologies.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
- Automate configuration management and monitoring of applications and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate new features and improve system performance.
- Implement and manage databases, both SQL and NoSQL, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal uptime.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity best practices across all environments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role in a tech environment.
- Must have experience with Kubernetes and Docker Based Deployments
- Experience with both AWS & Azure
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Familiarity with RESTful services and microservices architecture.
