The IT Manager is to lead, direct and oversee the IT department. You are to maintain a constant supply of equipment with the latest software and coordinate with all the divisions to ensure all IT needs are met. The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the information technology operations of an organization. This role involves leading a team of IT professionals, coordinating and implementing technology-related projects, ensuring the security and reliability of the IT infrastructure, and providing support to users within the organization. The IT Manager plays a crucial role in aligning technology with the organization's business objectives and ensuring the efficient use of IT resources. The IT Manager must effectively coordinate with the Human Resources Department and various field personnel and team members to ensure technology is operating of the highest quality. Roles And Responsibilities

Develop and implement the organization's IT strategy in alignment with the overall business goals.
Collaborate with senior management to identify technology needs and opportunities for enhancing business processes.
Recruit, train, and manage a team of IT professionals, including systems administrators, network administrators, helpdesk staff, and other relevant roles.
Provide guidance, mentorship, to team members.
Oversee the maintenance and upgrade of the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, network equipment, hardware, and software.
Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of IT systems and data.
Plan, execute, and manage IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meeting the desired objectives.
Coordinate with various departments to understand their technology requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
Develop and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and best practices to safeguard the organization's data and systems from potential threats.
Conduct regular security audits and implement necessary measures to mitigate risks.
Prepare and manage the IT department's budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
Identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising the quality of IT services.
Liaise with IT vendors and service providers to negotiate contracts, monitor service level agreements, and ensure the delivery of quality services.
Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
Oversee the IT helpdesk function and ensure timely resolution of user queries and problems.
Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Stay updated with technological advancements and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.

Required Qualifications And Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent experience.
Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in IT management or a related leadership role.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team of IT professionals.
In-depth knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, networking, and security protocols.
Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders effectively.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities to address complex IT issues.
Knowledge of IT budgeting and financial management.
Familiarity with IT compliance and regulatory requirements.
Certifications such as CompTIA Project+, ITIL, PMP, or CISSP may be advantageous.
Travel is required, must possess a valid driver's license.
