Position Overview:

As the Fractional CTO at Valerian Technology, you'll wear many hats and dive deep into both strategy and hands-on technical work. You'll be the go-to tech guru for our clients, offering high-level advice and rolling up your sleeves to tackle coding, system architecture, and problem-solving. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and love juggling multiple projects, this is the role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement:

Build and nurture strong, trust-based relationships with clients.
Understand their business goals, challenges, and tech needs inside out.
Be their tech advisor and hands-on problem-solver, aligning strategies with their goals.

Technical Leadership and Hands-On Execution:

Lead with authority across multiple projects, integrating the latest tech advancements.
Show off your skills in various tech stacks and programming languages.
Collaborate with teams to design, implement, and refine tech solutions.

Project Management and Multi-Tasking:

Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring timely and budget-friendly completion.
Master the art of prioritizing and mobilizing teams to tackle challenges efficiently.
Work closely with project managers and dev teams to keep everything on track.

Technology Innovation:

Stay ahead of the curve with the latest tech trends and advancements.
Advise clients on innovative solutions to elevate their business.
Champion the adoption of new technologies and methodologies within projects.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a CTO, Fractional CTO, or similar senior tech role.
Deep technical expertise across multiple tech stacks and programming languages.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Strong project management background with a history of successful project delivery.
Strategic thinker with the ability to align tech solutions with business goals.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Over 10 years of experience in technology leadership positions.
At least 15 years in the software, technology, or related fields with substantial hands-on experience.
