Position Overview:
As the Fractional CTO at Valerian Technology, you'll wear many hats and dive deep into both strategy and hands-on technical work. You'll be the go-to tech guru for our clients, offering high-level advice and rolling up your sleeves to tackle coding, system architecture, and problem-solving. Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement:
- Build and nurture strong, trust-based relationships with clients.
- Understand their business goals, challenges, and tech needs inside out.
- Be their tech advisor and hands-on problem-solver, aligning strategies with their goals.
Technical Leadership and Hands-On Execution:
- Lead with authority across multiple projects, integrating the latest tech advancements.
- Show off your skills in various tech stacks and programming languages.
- Collaborate with teams to design, implement, and refine tech solutions.
Project Management and Multi-Tasking:
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring timely and budget-friendly completion.
- Master the art of prioritizing and mobilizing teams to tackle challenges efficiently.
- Work closely with project managers and dev teams to keep everything on track.
Technology Innovation:
- Stay ahead of the curve with the latest tech trends and advancements.
- Advise clients on innovative solutions to elevate their business.
- Champion the adoption of new technologies and methodologies within projects.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CTO, Fractional CTO, or similar senior tech role.
- Deep technical expertise across multiple tech stacks and programming languages.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Strong project management background with a history of successful project delivery.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align tech solutions with business goals.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Over 10 years of experience in technology leadership positions.
- At least 15 years in the software, technology, or related fields with substantial hands-on experience.
