Position: Cyber Security Consultant Location: Remote (US) Employment Type: Full-time (Contract or Regular)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing
- Provide expert advice and recommendations on cyber security measures and best practices
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect against cyber threats
- Collaborate with clients to address security concerns and enhance their security posture
Requirements:
- Proficiency in cyber security concepts and tools for threat detection and mitigation
- Experience with security assessment tools like Nmap, Burp Suite, or Metasploit
- Knowledge of network security protocols, encryption algorithms, and intrusion detection systems
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI DSS
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in cyber security roles, specializing in security assessments and consulting
- Demonstrated expertise in identifying and addressing security vulnerabilities
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in security assessments and risk management
- Effective communication skills for providing security recommendations and collaborating with clients
Working Hours:
- Standard working hours from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm or 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
Education:
- No specific university degree required, but relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are beneficial
