Role Summary
The role will lead a global team of Business Intelligence professionals. The candidate must be inquisitive about gathering accurate, insightful information to make clear, data-driven business decisions. This person will support the sales, sales operations, product operations, and other corporate stakeholders in accessing, understanding, and utilizing key intelligence regarding sales performance. The position will work cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Product Operations, and technical teams to help develop new tools, processes, and reporting for all levels of sales. The leader will enable his/her team to work with multiple data sources developing database views and be required to have strong SQL/extraction skills for data retrieval and strong ETL/data modeling skills. The position will report to the VP of Global Sales and Revenue Operations.
What You Will Do- All reporting and analytics for all levels of Sales and Product Operations as well as key stakeholders and executives outside sales that require access to sales intelligence and related data (ie. Marketing, Product Management, Finance, etc.)
- Hire, develop, and manage a global team that can generate descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive reporting and analytics
- Generate data insights to strengthen stakeholder’s data literacy and drive data-driven decision-making
- Gather, inform, and guide business requirements
- Ensure the leadership team has the right types of data, and accurate data, to lead to the necessary insights to drive strategic and tactical decisions
- Interface and verify with end users that the BI views meet and support the business needs they were created to fulfill
- Accounts for the accuracy of the data presented to BI users through the execution of validation processes and testing procedures
- Should have knowledge and skills for reporting using secondary tools such as Microsoft Power Apps, Flow, Azure, and Salesforce
- Great understanding of best practices in the visual display of quantitative information
- Lead all related enablement efforts as required
- Work with the datawarehouse team to ensure efficient design and implementation of ETL processes for the data warehouse population and querying
What You Will Bring- 10+ years of reporting, and analytics experience in Sales, Sales Funnel, Pipeline, and performance metrics, preferably in a subscription and/or channel-driven, environment
- 5+ years of SQL development experience writing queries
- 3+ years of experience with Power BI, data modeling, Excel, and writing DAX queries
- Data Fluency – the ability to leverage data to help the organization better understand performance and progress to goal(s)
- Experience participating in business / digital transformation projects
- Analytical Toolkit – the ability to exercise different problem-solving approaches to analyze results, including but not limited to time series analysis, experimental design, and data visualization
- A self-motivated, driven individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong team orientation and collaborative style. Flexible demeanor and an ability to get involved in the details while maintaining a wider view
- Strong business and technical aptitude with an attitude to solve complex problems
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- BS / MS in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, or any other related field preferred
In the United States, the base salary for this role ranges from $187,200 to $312,000. In addition to base salary, we offer additional compensation including bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package. A candidate’s specific pay within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, training, location, experience, relevant education, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
