Job Summary
The Cyber Security Analyst takes ownership of all security needs relative to the planning, analysis, documentation, and execution of cyber security protocols for operational data protection, threat detection, and response initiatives, as assigned. The Cyber Security Analyst assists with training and support in an effort to build efficiencies within the organization on day-to-day security operations and best practices.

Requirements
- The Cyber Security Analyst is responsible for identifying risks to the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of ours systems, while maintaining compliance with applicable regulatory standards
- The Cyber Security Analyst leverages Managed Detection and Response, Mobile Device Management, Endpoint Detection, and Network Secuirty tools to identify and classify risks. They then conduct scans of Dane Street systems to uncover vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate them, reducing overall risk exposure
- The Cyber Security Analyst supports the attainment and maintenance of industry certifications such as HiTrust, SOC, and FedRamp by implementing and maintaining security measures aligned with certification requirements. They also ensure ongoing compliance through regular reviews and updates to security protocols
- Assist the Project Manager Admin in collecting responses for Client security Questionniares and RFP possibilities
- Articulate technical and security requirements to leadership when addressing concerns or sharing updates on initiatives
- Identify gaps in security operations and develop mitigation strategies
- Assist with the maintenance of application and operating system software in Dane Street's Desktop Support network
- Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning
- Accept ownership of assigned projects and initiatives as assigned. Independent and proactive effort is expected in this area and with respect to all Dane Street initiatives
- Support all internal business leadership in a subject‐matter‐expert capacity, as needed
Other duties & special projects, as assigned and based on business needs.
EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:
An Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree is preferred with additional training or equivalent work
experience within the industry.
Industry Certifications such as CISSP, Security +, Network + is preferred
JOB RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
Experience with HIPAA, HITRUST, and ISO 27001/ISO 27799 preferred. Working with technology-based
processes within the business environment.
JOB RELATED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
Extensive working knowledge of operational processes. Excellent communication skills, understanding of
industry terminology, critical thinking, ability to manage time efficiently and to meet specific deadlines.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Any lifting, bending, traveling, etc. required to do the job duties listed above. Long periods of sitting and
computer work.
