Web Security Engineer
FULLY REMOTE
Duration: 12+ Months
Will be maintaining and enhancing the security and performance of our web applications and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Akamai DNS, web applications, and a strong understanding of CDN tools and firewalls.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years Akamai DNS Management: Configure and manage; Monitor and troubleshoot DNS issues to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
- Expert-level knowledge of Akamai DNS and web applications.
- Monitor and respond to security threats and incidents.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Nice To Have:
- Experience with CDN tools (e.g., Akamai, Cloudflare, Amazon CloudFront)
- Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet).
Nice To Have:
Certifications in network security (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CISM).
Experience with additional security tools and technologies (e.g., WAF, DDoS protection).
