The Role (Generate Qualified Sales Discovery Appointments):
We are seeking a dynamic and driven BDR with an inherent desire to innovate, grow, and lead. Your primary sales objective will be identifying, engaging, and booking sales discovery appointments with companies/ decision-makers who fit our target profile.
Beyond executing sales scripts, you will get to work with our co-founders to define, craft, and execute our sales initiatives.
In this role, you will engage with business leaders at high-tech companies, particularly with AI, Blockchain, HealthTech, and FinTech. An affinity for or an interest in technology is a plus.
There is a 1-month probation period to evaluate hire, role, and company fit.
Responsibilities
- Book sales meetings with sales leads.
- Perform research to identify sales leads i.e. our ideal customer companies and the ideal purchase decision makers/ sales leads in those companies.
- Create personalized sales scripts for LinkedIn, email, and cold call outreach.
- Engage sales leads via LinkedIn, Email, and phone calls.
- Prepare and deliver sales prospecting pipeline performance evaluations to the Director of Sales and Marketing.
- Recommend and develop improved systems, policies, and procedures for the Business Development Representative.
Basic Requirements
- Experience in discovering and qualifying new leads, given a set of target criteria.
- Experience in booking discovery appointments.
- Ability to leverage LinkedIn messaging to book sales discovery appointments.
- Ability to use phone calls and emails to book sales discovery appointments.
- Ability to leverage a CRM to manage the sales prospecting process and pipeline.
- Great communication and interaction skills.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Passionate customer success enthusiast.
Preferred Requirements
- Driven to grow, innovate, and lead rather than accept the status quo.
- Proven expertise with lead generation and engagement tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Apollo.io.
- Proven expertise with lead engagement automation tools.
- Proven expertise with online call dialers.
- At least 2 years of sales development experience.
- Experience in either SaaS or Cybersecurity industries
INTERVIEW PROCESS AND REQUIREMENTS
During the interview process, you will be required to complete one or any of the following:
- A practical take-home screening test where you book and are paid for 3 appointments.
- Provide 2 references from previous managers
