ArriVent is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company dedicated to the identification, development and commercialization of differentiated medicines to address the unmet medical needs of patients with cancers. ArriVent seeks to utilize its team’s deep drug development experience to maximize the potential of its lead development candidate, firmonertinib, and advance a pipeline of novel therapeutics, such as next-generation antibody drug conjugates, through approval and commercialization in patients suffering from cancer, with an initial focus on solid tumors.
Position Summary:
This position will work closely with team leaders and cross-functional team members to develop and execute plans to meet project objectives and goals. This role is also responsible for leading the alliance for external collaboration programs with our partners located in China.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Project Team leaders and functional members to develop and execute integrated project plans to meet project goals and company goals
- Facilitate internal and external meetings to drive effective decision making, scenario planning and risk management
- Facilitate team meetings to identify critical path activities, and resource constraints, risks and conflicts that could impact the schedule, timelines and costs
- Effectively communicate program strategies, critical path activities, timelines, risks, assumptions, alternative scenarios, and budget to internal and external team members.
- Lead the preparation of the presentations to governance committee meetings
- Manage contracts to ensure the terms and payments are met by the parties.
- Ensure alignment on program strategies and project plan with external partners and resolve conflicts if necessary
- Develop and track program timelines and budget
- Prepare meeting agenda and minutes and ensure the project documentation is current and accurately stored
- Manage team dynamics to avoid conflicts and ensure all team’s perspectives are considered
Education, Skills, and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (scientific discipline preferred). PMP certification is desirable
- Minimum of 6 years of project management experience in pharmaceutical drug development field with a minimum of 3 years in alliance management experience
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin is required
- Strong ability to build cross-functional relationships with proven ability to lead and influence colleagues across the organization and with partners to achieve company goals
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and partner management skills
- Strong organization and multi-tasking skills
- Highly motivated, self-starter, excellent problem-solving skills, and influencing skills
- Ability to handle pressures of a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Smartsheet
- Experience with research and preclinical activities is a plus
