Role Description
We're seeking a passionate and skilled Volunteer Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our tech initiatives and drive our operational efficiency. This is a remote volunteer role for a Volunteer CTO. The Volunteer CTO will be responsible for overseeing the technology strategy and implementation at EIE. This includes managing software development projects, developing IT strategies and architectures, and contributing to product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing a Learning Management System (LMS) and Knowledge Management System (KMS) in alignment with EIE's goals.
- Overseeing the management of our technology systems and infrastructure.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless tech integration.
- Providing guidance on best practices for data security and privacy.
- Supporting the implementation of digital tools for educators and learners.
Qualifications
- Software Development and Product Development skills
- Experience in Project Management and IT Strategy
- Knowledge of IT architectures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Experience in the education field is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Time Commitment
