Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our founding team. As the CTO/Co-Founder, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technological vision and strategy of our company. You will lead the development and scaling of our web application, ensuring it remains at the forefront of innovation and user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Define and execute the technological vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with our business goals.
- Product Development: Lead the end-to-end development of our web application, ValueGlance, ensuring robust architecture, scalability, and user-centric design.
- Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing technical team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating relevant advancements to maintain our competitive edge.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO and other co-founders to align technology initiatives with business objectives, ensuring seamless integration across all functions.
- Security: Implement best practices for data security, privacy, and compliance, safeguarding our users and their information.
- Hands-on Coding: Be willing and able to dive into coding when necessary, providing hands-on support to the development team.
- Budget Management: Oversee the technology budget, making strategic decisions to optimize resources and investments.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience as a CTO or in a similar leadership role within a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in software development, architecture, and system design. Must have hands-on experience with full-stack development, including AWS, Python, React, JavaScript, and related technologies.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing technical teams, with a track record of successful product launches.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: A passion for startups, innovation, and a willingness to take risks and navigate uncertainty.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think critically and strategically, with a focus on long-term growth and sustainability.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
