Position Overview:
The Vice President of Sales (“VP”) is a key member of the AMBROSE & Excellart Sign Products (“AMBROSE”) leadership team and reports to the CEO of AMBROSE. They’re responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies and goals across all divisions of AMBROSE. Managing and overseeing the sales & marketing operation through Sales Representatives, Manufacturer Reps and Marketing staff, the VP is responsible for creating a world-class sales organization translating the overall business strategy into analytics which drive key deliverables, targets, and actions. This individual will drive all internal and external sales & marketing activity, help create lead generation, marketing campaigns and pricing programs. It is critical that this individual maintains excellent relationships with internal and external partners to gain buy-in to new ideas and continue driving sales excellence.
The VP is responsible for proactively developing, implementing and directing business development activities that will meet sales objectives as part of the overall growth strategy of the company. All essential functions, duties and other responsibilities will be in support of AMBROSE’S mission, values and goals.
Job Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing budget and strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Provide visionary leadership to sales team, account managers, application engineering, and marketing.
- Drive revenue generation through the identification of new business (10% overall) opportunities and the expansion of existing accounts (90% overall).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of solutions, products, and services for maximum customer satisfaction.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to identify key trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for growth.
- Use market insights to refine and adapt sales strategies, marketing strategies, and ensure AMBROSE keeps a competitive edge in all sectors we serve.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, and positioning our solutions as integral to their success.
- Work closely with Account Management, Engineering, and Marketing to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Recruit, train, and mentor individuals to create high-performing teams.
- Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and implement development plans to foster professional and personal growth.
Education and Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Management or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of sales management experience, setting targets, driving revenue growth and developing effective sales strategies across multiple sales channels.
- A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue goals. Proven ability to analyze sales data, identify areas for improvement and implement effective strategies to drive sales growth.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships. Experience in managing key accounts, understanding customer needs and providing exceptional customer service.
- A track record of identifying and pursing new business opportunities, expanding market share, and developing strategic partnerships within the food conveying industry.
