Overview: We are seeking experienced Network Security Analysts for a purely Network Security project involving network management and segmentation for Capital One. This role involves analyzing firewall routes, managing firewall rules, and troubleshooting network issues.
Position
- Duration: 6+ Months
- Type: W2 (USC/GC)
Responsibilities
- Analyze firewall routes and manage firewall rules.
- Troubleshoot network issues and perform traffic flow analysis.
- Deploy and validate firewall solutions.
- Manage endpoint security using CrowdStrike or other EVR solutions.
- Utilize firewall management tools, particularly Palo Alto firewalls.
- Ensure network security through Cisco or other networking security, VPNs, and web proxies.
- Troubleshoot firewall issues and perform QA and testing.
- Work with security technologies including web proxies and DNS.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in endpoint security with CrowdStrike or any EVR solution.
- Proficiency in managing Palo Alto firewalls.
- Ability to write and analyze firewall rules.
- Experience in troubleshooting firewall issues and performing traffic flow analysis.
- Familiarity with Cisco or other networking security, VPNs, and web proxies.
- Knowledge of Splunk or related tools is a plus.
