**Hybrid 2-3 days per week onsite at closest service center to you, there are locations scattered throughout lower Michigan and very likely to be one within 20 minutes of you.
Key responsibilities include:
- Consulting on the design, development, integration, and analysis of platforms, working collaboratively with systems, hardware, software, and diverse technical and non-technical teams.
- Providing security controls and solutions that mitigate risks while aligning with business objectives.
Core Responsibilities:
- Documenting all department-specific work products in a formalized manner.
- Conducting independent and group-based research on technology and security, including the development of techniques, countermeasures, and analysis of trends in computer and network vulnerabilities and exploits.
- Utilizing expertise in threat detection, penetration testing, forensics, and incident response to identify and implement platform, process, and technical design optimizations.
- Leading or mentoring in technical or functional areas within small to large-scale teams or matrix-based groups, as directed by management.
- Participating in technology security reviews, articulating issues and risks in business terms, and making balanced recommendations that support business agility while managing risk.
- Developing and integrating security capabilities aligned with the cybersecurity roadmap across various environments, including internal, public cloud, private cloud, and mobile.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Cybersecurity, network, and/or application security engineering, or a related discipline. Hands-on experience with the following technologies is required:
- QRadar SIEM and/or other log aggregation and correlation tools

- Juniper and/or Cisco switching and routing
- RSA Algorithm
