We have an opening for a full-time, permanent Red Team Technical Lead to join our talented, dynamic team in support of a large Federal Government customer. The Red Team Technical Lead will support a dynamic and exciting cybersecurity program for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Duties
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Lead and coordinate Red Team operations, including advanced offensive security assessments and adversarial emulation exercises.
- Develop and execute test plans, rules of engagement, and operational procedures.
- Prepare and deliver detailed technical reports and presentations on findings and recommendations.
- Ensure the technical integrity and quality of Red Team deliverables, meeting customer requirements and organizational standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Red Team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Oversee the development and execution of technical plans, ensuring alignment with program goals and objectives.
- Perform technical reviews, audits, and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Support risk management activities by identifying potential technical risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Maintain positive relationships with key Government Points of Contact (POCs), responding to technical inquiries and concerns.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field - equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- 10+ years of experience in offensive security, including penetration testing and red teaming
- Certifications in offensive security, such as OSCP, OSCE, OSEE, OSWE, GPEN, GWAPT, or similar are preferred
- In-depth knowledge of IT systems, cybersecurity principles, and industry best practices
- Working knowledge of program/project management software (Microsoft Project, Jira, Microsoft 365/Teams applications, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a technical team
