Key Responsibilities
- Product Vision and Strategy: Develop and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy for banking technology solutions that align with organizational goals and customer needs.
- Define and maintain the product roadmap, prioritizing features based on business objectives, market trends, and technical feasibility.
- Technical Expertise: Leverage a deep understanding of banking technology, including core banking systems, digital platforms, payment systems, and cybersecurity.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure technical requirements are met.
- Requirement Gathering and Documentation: Gather and document detailed product requirements from stakeholders, translating these into actionable technical specifications.
- Project Management: Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery from concept to launch. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution.
- User Experience and Design: Work with UX/UI designers to ensure the product provides a seamless and intuitive experience for banking customers. Use user feedback and usability testing results to drive product improvements.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Present updates, progress, and future plans to senior management and other key stakeholders.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and identify areas for enhancement.
- Analyze user feedback, usage data, and other metrics to continuously optimize the product.
- Problem-Solving and Innovation: Identify and resolve technical and product-related issues during development and post-launch. Explore new technologies and methodologies to drive innovation and improve banking operations.
- People Management: Lead and mentor a team of Business Analysts and other relevant staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- At least 5 years of experience in product management with a solid understanding of banking technology and financial services.
- Proven success in launching and managing complex software products within the banking or financial sector.
- Strong technical background, including knowledge of software development processes, banking systems, and cybersecurity.
- Strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a focus on fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels.
