The Mentor (Credit Recovery) will support high school students during weekend academic sessions at the Ebersole Center, focusing on credit recovery to increase achievement and graduation rates. This part-time role involves assisting students in small group settings, supervising overnight programs, and fostering a positive learning environment. Preference is given to candidates with experience or training in the Edgenuity online platform. Preference given to current Lansing School District employees. Qualifications - Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in education, counseling, or a related field is preferred
- Experience working with high school students from diverse backgrounds
Qualifications - Skills & Knowledge
- Ability to use technology for teaching and data analysis
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
