Responsibilities
Kforce is looking for a Network Engineer to join on a special project with one of their clients in Raliegh, NC. Overview: The Company's WPC (Wallet, Payments, Commerce) Infrastructure Engineering team is looking to accelerate their cloud migration efforts for legacy stacks currently on-premises. The scope of work will be spread across three different tracks to include DevOps, Site Reliability and Development services. All the tracks will integrate into the company's internal development, performance, SRE and infrastructure teams in working through the migration of the applications within scope. Some applications in scope may be migrated as-is, while some may require re-development to enable their migration to the cloud. The ideal partner will work collaboratively with the company's core teams to deliver the greatest impact and efficiency. Responsibilities:
- The Network Engineer will be responsible for spearheading this AWS migration by ensuring alignment with best practices and security standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions
- Responsibilities include assessing network requirements, conducting traffic analysis, developing migration strategies, and providing technical guidance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of network engineering experience with AWS focus
- Hands-on experience with AWS services
- Excellent communication skills
- Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, and Cisco CCNP/CCIE
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
