Our client in the tech industry is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to join their team. As a Principal DevOps Engineer, you will be part of our OpenShift AI team supporting our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have solid troubleshooting skills, experience with Jenkins, Git, Maven, shell scripting, and related technologies for monitoring and automation, experience with Kubernetes/Openshift, and experience with Agile methodology which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Hybrid, 3 days/week on-site in Raleigh, NC or Boston, MA

What's the Job?
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines that allow faster, more secure, reliable and frequent releases
- Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes to improve and minimize the wastage
- Coordination and communication with various stakeholders, reaching across functional borders
- Mentoring and guiding more junior team members
- Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
What's Needed?
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Automation and modern Software Deployment practices
- Experience maintaining an infrastructure and ensuring stability while adding new features
- Ability to clearly articulate design and implementation choices
- Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools
- Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
