ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW
Global Gaming Women (GGW) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2011 that is dedicated to supporting, inspiring, and empowering women in the gaming industry. Through education, mentorship, and networking opportunities, GGW provides the resources women need to advance their careers and develop leadership skills. With over 7,000 active members, GGW continues to maintain a focus on inclusivity and professional development, creating a platform for women to connect, share knowledge, and foster a diverse and equitable gaming community worldwide. Our mission is to cultivate a global network of women leaders and promote gender equity across all sectors of the gaming industry.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Executive Vice President leads Global Gaming Women (GGW) in executing its strategic vision, overseeing operations, programs, events, fundraising and financial management. This role serves as a liaison between GGW and its stakeholders, including members, sponsors, and volunteers, while supervising GGW staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with the Board and Advisory Board to establish and fulfill GGW’s mission, vision, and goals.
- Responsible for annual organizational goal performance.
- Provide oversight for GGW activities, overseeing day-to-day operations for efficiency and opportunity.
- Communicate effectively with the Board, providing necessary information for informed decision-making.
- Identify and address problems and opportunities, facilitating discussions with the Board.
- Ensure financial health through resource development and fiscal integrity, including budget management.
- Fundraise and cultivate additional revenue sources to support GGW’s mission.
- Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders.
- Design and implement programs aligned with GGW’s mission.
- Enhance GGW’s visibility in the community through relationship marketing and collaboration. Public face of the organization.
- Ensure program quality through the development of policies and regular evaluations.
- Organize Board and committee meetings and oversee contracts with service providers.
- Foster a supportive work environment for staff and volunteers, setting accountabilities and performance evaluations.
- Directly supervises team members and volunteers as required.
- Evaluate staff performance and manage compensation accordingly.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Non-Profit Management, Business Administration from accredited college or university; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five years of executive managerial experience in a relevant sector (gaming, hospitality or non-profit).
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with social media.
- Experience in gaming or hospitality preferred.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Passion for GGW’s mission and non-profit work in the gaming community.
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with databases (e.g., Wild Apricot, QuickBooks) and website design.
- Ability to adapt to change.

- Superior financial management skills; able to prepare and analyze budgets.
- Experience in fundraising and identifying new streams of income.
- Ability to maintain a high-level of strategic thinking; capable of defining problems and drawing valid conclusions.
- Fluent in English; capable of analyzing and presenting complex information clearly and communicating quickly and clearly through a variety of methods.
