Overview:
This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.
The Enterprise Technology and Operations Control Assurance team evaluates controls that have been implemented to ensure these are designed to mitigate the risk and are operating effectively. This position will be responsible for evaluating the Bank’s cybersecurity controls to identify technical security gaps or deficiencies and to report on their effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
Review cybersecurity controls to determine whether they have been designed to mitigate the risk.
Analyze control data to identify anomalies and to determine whether controls are operating effectively.
Conduct root cause analysis on exceptions.
Report on the effectiveness of key controls and recommend improvements or additional controls, where appropriate.
Conduct peer reviews of control tests, as requested.
Assist with the preparation and publication of control testing metrics and reports.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Information security OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Information security
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Information Security, Technology Control Assurance, IT Risk Governance, or IT Audit.
2+ years of experience with a large financial institution.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Organized, able to work independently and to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to interface well with all levels of management and Cybersecurity teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
Experience with data analytics.
In-depth practical knowledge of Cybersecurity or IT General controls.

If hired in North Carolina, the base pay for this position is generally between $94,650 and $145,130. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
