Mash Networks is looking to hire a hands-on Network Engineer to our team. Our new team member will aid our customers in maintaining a reliable, secure, and efficient data communications network. The ideal candidate will be able to deploy, configure, maintain, and monitor all active network equipment to ensure smooth network operation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate customer’s networks, servers, and peripherals in a fast pace, growth driven environment.
- Install and integrate new hardware and applications
- Ensure managed equipment is fully updated
- Support and administer third-party applications
- Ensure network security and connectivity
- Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses.
- Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords
- Resolve problems reported by end user
- Define network policies and procedures
- Specify system requirements and design solutions
- Research and make recommendations on network administration
SKILLS
- Proven experience in a network engineering role
- Hands-on experience in networking, routing, and switching
- Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired
- Excellent at organizing, prioritizing, and multitasking
- Self Starter with a Business Driven Mindset
- Drive for continuous development
- Thrive in a customer-facing Environment
