Responsibilities
- Facilitate the development of new software solutions and transition of existing solutions from monolithic structures to micro-service structure operating within hardened containers.
- Work with application development teams to refactor or create solutions that leverage the DevSecOps CI/CD pipeline and tools.
- Instruct/guide teams through their solution development.
- Deploy and sustain microservices factory utilizing COTS and open-source solutions.
- Work with application development teams to transition legacy systems from monolithic structures to secure, efficient microservices, ensuring optimal performance within containerized environments.
- Design, implement, and maintain DevSecOps pipelines that streamline continuous integration and delivery, emphasizing security and compliance at each stage of the software lifecycle
- Establish and maintain a microservices factory leveraging COTS and open-source solutions, managing the entire deployment cycle from development to production.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in DevSecOps practices, instructing development teams on creating and deploying solutions within a CI/CD pipeline and ensuring adherence to security and quality standards.
- Implement and manage automation tools to streamline workflows, enhance deployment speed, and ensure reliability and consistency of containers in all environments.
- Collaborate with security, development, and IT teams to maintain alignment on software architecture, security protocols, and project timelines.
- Monitor and optimize container performance, resource allocation, and scalability within microservices to meet application and user demands.
