One of our clients in Annapolis, MD, needs a Network Engineer.
- Position: Network Engineer
- Location: Annapolis, MD(Hybrid)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with advanced technical expertise in IT networking. The successful candidate will support the AOC with network infrastructure management, configuration, security, and troubleshooting. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with significant hands-on experience and high-level certifications in networking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, configure, and optimize network systems for security, performance, and reliability.
- Provide technical support and solutions for network-related issues across various IT systems.
- Implement and monitor network security measures to safeguard critical data and ensure compliance with organizational protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enforce network architecture and infrastructure best practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate degree in an Information Technology (IT) related field (as determined by the AOC).
- Active certifications, including one of the following:
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology (IT) related field (as determined by the AOC).
- Ten (10) years of technical experience in IT networking within CONUS.
- Advanced certifications issued within the last four (4) years, including:
- Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) in Enterprise Infrastructure or Security
- Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
- Prisma Certified Cloud Security Engineer (PCCSE) from Palo Alto Networks
