The Information Systems Division works in collaboration with programs and county agencies, to provide solutions to systems that assist families access essentials such as, but not limited to, medical services, care providers, groceries, and transportation.
The Department of Social Services, Information Systems Division (ISD), Operations and Management Branch has an opening for an Information Technology Manager I (ITM I). ISD is seeking a highly motivated, qualified individual to manage our Customer Support Bureau which includes the Service Desk, Telecommunications, IT Asset Management, Network Deployment Services and Network Client Services. Under the general direction of the Information Technology Manager II (ITM II), the ITM I will oversee the ongoing daily operations of the Customer Support Bureau. The incumbent exercises full management responsibility and accountability for subordinate supervisors, staff and workload associated with the operation of the bureau The ITM I works closely with ISD management and IT staff, in support of the most complex/high level IT needs including new IT projects, maintenance and support of existing systems, and remediation of technical issues.

Special Requirements - The position(s) require(s) a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired.
Please Note: A Statement of Qualifications or Supplemental Questionnaire must be submitted along with your application in order to be considered for this position. This position requires a background investigation, including a criminal conviction history screening, before hire (IRS Publication 1075). The Statement of Qualification must be typed, single-spaced, no more than one (1) page in length with your full name on each page, 12-point Arial font, and address the following:
- The SOQ is a narrative discussion of how your education, training, and experience meet the essential functions as noted in the position duty statement and how they qualify you for the position. The SOQ serves as a documentation of your ability to present information clearly and concisely in writing.
This position has been designated as eligible for telework. The position may require in person attendance on a rotational basis.
