Your Role and Responsibilities
- Solution Architect is the technical lead for migrating workloads to cloud. Responsibilities include:
- Provides leadership in the development of target cloud architecture, analysis, design, coding, testing associated with workload migration to cloud
- Partner with the Prime to lead solution design for AF seeking migration to AWS/Azure cloud platforms
- Develop and conduct deep-dive hands-on education/training/demo sessions
- Act as a liaison between prime, customers, service providers & support teams
- Focus on defining technical needs and requirements
- Utilize modern design patterns and industry leading practices in designing and delivering solutions
- Responsible for compliance to security, audit policies, and procedures.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- AWS certification
- Azure certification
- Experience migrating and deploying applications on MS Azure
- Experience in designing and building solutions in different languages including scripting language, Python, Java, Spring and JavaScript
- Broad understanding of DevOps and containerization tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Bamboo, Docker
- Hands-on experience with designing and delivering complex solutions
- Experience in Agile Development and all phases of the SDLC in services environments, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment and support
- Excellent communications and writing skills
- Excellent presentation skills to client management
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance from the US federal government.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
