About the Role
As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll join a high-performing DevSecOps team to support and optimize the Eligibility Supporting Technology applications. This role is instrumental in developing and managing CI/CD principles, automating deployments, and ensuring system reliability across development, test, training, and production environments. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation solutions.
- Oversee and refine Batch Jobs and Operations, enhancing overall performance.
- Analyze, configure, and maintain CI/CD tools and platforms.
- Document and standardize processes and procedures for streamlined deployments.
- Provide essential environment triage support, including on-call support.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, exercising considerable initiative and judgment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 10+ years in automation of full lifecycle enterprise IT environments, including IaC, CaC, and CI/CD tools (e.g., IBM WebSphere, MQ, Oracle products, AWS).
- 10+ years in designing scalable, repeatable automation solutions.
- 10+ years experience with automation tools like Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Liquibase.
- 8+ years in programming/scripting languages (Python, GoLang, Shell, Ruby, Bash, Perl).
- 8+ years with containers and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, PODMAN, Docker EE/OpenShift/Rancher) and packaging tools (Helm Charts, Kustomize).
- 8+ years working with Linux and Windows OS.
- 8+ years in AWS solution architecture.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Skills
- 5+ years in Java development (Java, J2EE, Java Spring Boot, EJB, JSP, JSF/Struts).
- Experience with WebSphere ND, MQ, Oracle, LDAP, Splunk, Dynatrace.
