As we prepare to launch new workflows and agents, including a Q&A document chatbot, we are looking for a dedicated Part-Time Contract SOC 2 & Security Compliance Engineer to help integrate these advancements into daily operations for enhanced efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure ongoing compliance with SOC 2 standards by working in collaboration with our compliance partner, addressing and monitoring compliance issues effectively.
- Oversee the management of customer security questionnaires, liaising with internal teams to gather essential information for accurate and timely responses.
- Prepare for and manage SOC 2 audits, including evidence collection and coordination with auditors, while implementing their recommendations to strengthen compliance.
- Create and maintain comprehensive security documentation and processes that align with industry best practices.
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement within our security and compliance processes and implement effective solutions.
Required Skills
- In-depth knowledge of SOC 2 compliance requirements and experience with compliance platforms.
- Proven ability to manage security questionnaires and navigate audit processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and methodical approach to documenting processes and addressing compliance matters.
- Familiarity with evidence collection and collaboration with external auditors.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate security and compliance needs and propose solutions.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in security compliance roles, specifically focused on SOC 2 compliance and security questionnaire management.
