Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Administrator to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis in Dallas, TX. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in planning, implementing, and administering IAM systems across our organization, ensuring compliance with established standards and policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and manage IAM services organization-wide.
- Oversee user access to systems, applications, and sensitive data, ensuring security and proper entitlements.
- Conduct risk assessments and audits to maintain compliance and prepare relevant reports.
- Develop and manage procedures for vulnerability and threat assessment, including training users on IAM policies and practices.
- Document security requirements and assess how new technologies impact our security posture.
- Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate effectively across departments to address user access needs and promote a secure environment.
Required Skills
- In-depth knowledge of IAM concepts, including Single Sign-On (SSO) and role-based access control.
- Familiarity with authentication protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and Kerberos.
- Proficiency in programming languages, particularly PowerShell and Python.
- Strong project management capabilities and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a talent for translating technical jargon for non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least five (5) years of experience in IAM or a similar role.
- Preferred experience with IAM tools like Active Directory, LDAP, Azure AD, and SQL databases.
- Certifications such as Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM) or Certified Identity Management Professional (CIMP) are advantageous.
