About the Opportunity
The Industry 4.0 Program Manager (PM) will be responsible for supporting the I4.0 team in the transfer of knowledge of Smart Manufacturing technologies for small and mid-sized manufacturers (SMMs). This PM will perform audits of current state technologies at client sites and provide recommendations on best-in-class future state opportunities.
The PM will engage with internal and external partners to identify supporting technologies, processes, tools, and training necessary for the adoption of Smart Manufacturing by SMMs. This PM will build technology partnerships to assist with outreach and services delivery. In addition, this PM will meet annual goals; projects, revenue, events, partnerships, and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities Include:
- Identifies trends, industry drivers, and technology gaps across manufacturers in Michigan.
- Maintains awareness of the latest advances and developments in key Smart Manufacturing technologies.
- Performs technology assessments at client sites within the state of Michigan
- Assists in Technology Trade Shows at client and partner sites.
- Focuses on Smart Manufacturing technology deployment by identifying high-probability market opportunities.
- Leading instruction in a classroom environment and designing new course content.
About You
We are seeking candidates who are self-starters and have a proven ability to work well in a team environment. You have a solid background in traditional manufacturing and experience selecting and implementing smart manufacturing technologies. Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree; preferably in Engineering, and possess Six Sigma Greenbelt, Black Belt, and GD&T Professional Certification They will also have experience with robotics or automatic integration, and have knowledge of Cybersecurity best practices and DOD requirements.
