Model e EVDD privacy engineering team is hiring for a senior privacy analyst to support connected vehicle data privacy. As the privacy analyst, you will have oppotunity to protect our customer's digital privacy by driving privacy-by-design for EVDD organization, governance implementation, privacy issue investigation and other inititives. You will work in a team with talented software engineers, data engineers and data scientist and will closely collaborate with a wide range of partners, including TPM, Product, Business, Legal, Privacy Office and other EVDD engineering teams. This is a hybrid position to Dearborn MI, Seattle WA or Palo Alto CA.
Senior Privacy Analyst for the privacy engineering team for connected vehicle. We protect customer data privacy through policy implementation and privacy enhancing technologies. On the policy side, we design and implement privacy governance solutions throughout the software and data life-cycle to enhance the compliance for all data collection for features and analytics. On the privacy enhancing tech side, we develop algorithms and engineering implementation to de-risk data collection to protect high risk customer data. Opportunities to work build 0-1 solutions, impacting all connected vehicle software and data. Work closely with TPM, OGC, privacy office, product, business and other engineering orgs.
Responsibilities
What you'll do...
- Establish metrics and insights to report progress and recommend improvements for privacy infrastructure
- Work with legal, privacy office, product and engineering to investigate, mitigate and resolve privacy issues
- Support privacy impact assessment and governance reviews
- Manage and implement privacy policies for connected vehicle data systems
- Develop and provide privacy training
Qualifications
You'll have...
- Bachelor's degree computer science, privacy engineering, Information Security, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in data analytics for issue investigation and data-driven decision making using SQL or Python
- 2+ years of experience in business and engineering requirements development, communication and management
- 1+ years of experience in one or more of the following, software development life-cycle, telemetry data life-cycle, data protection, data governance, cybersecurity and other related areas.
Even better, you may have...
- Master's degree in Computer Science, privacy engineering, Information Security, or a related field.
- Experience in data privacy, protection, governance and related field.
- Familiar in global privacy and AI regulatory and compliance requirements, such as GDPR, Data Act, AI Act, CCPA and US state privacy laws.
- Ability to identify and address privacy issues within an organization
- CIPT/CRPM certification
- Strong analytical skills to assess privacy risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Ability to manage competing priorities and cross-functional collaboration
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Experience in data ontology and taxonomy
- Experience in cybersecurity
