Job Summary
As a cybersecurity Specialist you will be part of a global team focused on Single Sign On (SSO) / Federation and Multifactor authentication, protecting our information and assets from unauthorized access, security risks and cyber-attacks.
The Opportunity
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level Operational support in managing the corresponding SSO, Federation, Reverse Proxy infrastructure, Focus on SAML and AuthO protocols for Ping Identity, Apache servers and its associated components and applications in a global team.
- Responsible for the day-to-day operational support, performance, tactical lifecycle management and continuous improvement of the respective IT infrastructure.
- Promptly respond to customer requests, resolve incidents, and implement changes in ensuring a high level of customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Understand, implement, and follow relevant concepts of ITIL, GxP, Request Management, Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Document Management, Qualification and Validation
- Readiness to adapt to new technologies, standards, and evolving security threats.
- Continuous learning to stay updated with industry trends.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- 4-6 years of experience working in a major global organization, preferably in a regulated industry.
- Understanding of IAM concepts, protocols, standards, and experience with IAM solutions like (AuthO, OpenID Connect, SAML, PingID, Azure AD, Okta, etc.)
- Proficiency in directory services such as LDAP, Active Directory, etc. and experience with user provisioning, synchronization, and management.
- Strong understanding of web technologies and protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, RESTful APIs, etc.)
- Knowledge of frontend frameworks (React, Angular, etc.) for integration purposes.
- Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) and knowledge of authentication factors (biometrics, OTPs, etc.) and their implementations.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline or recognition of prior working experience, which is equivalent to industry accredited certification.
