Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Information Technology Specialist with a focus on clinical research to join our team. The IT Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting the deployment and maintenance of our AI-powered software solutions in clinical trial settings, ensuring seamless integration and efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Software Deployment and Support:
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of AI software solutions in clinical research environments, including installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Provide technical support and training to study personnel on the use of AI software tools, ensuring effective utilization and minimizing disruptions.
Data Management and Security:
- Manage clinical trial data infrastructure and systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
- Implement data backup and recovery procedures to safeguard against data loss and ensure continuity of operations.
System Integration:
- Collaborate with IT and software development teams to integrate AI software platforms with existing clinical trial management systems (CTMS), electronic data capture (EDC) systems, and other IT infrastructure components.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices for IT systems used in clinical research, including adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and relevant data privacy regulations.
Documentation and Training:
- Maintain detailed documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures, including installation guides, technical specifications, and user manuals.
- Provide training and support to study personnel on IT-related topics, including software usage, data management practices, and security protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+) preferred.
- Previous experience in IT support, system administration, or software deployment, with exposure to clinical research environments preferred.
- Strong technical skills and proficiency with IT infrastructure components, including hardware, operating systems, networks, and databases.
- Familiarity with software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting processes, preferably in a healthcare or life sciences context.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders and collaborate in a team environment.
