The Information Technology Manager s primary responsibility is to design, procure, deliver, maintain, and support secure, compliant, and resilient information technologies that accelerate company success. The manager oversees, develops, and leads the IS Network and Operations teams, and outside technology partners. The scope of technologies include telecom, infrastructure, network, data center, end user, disaster recovery, and security technologies. The manager is also responsible for the policies and practices governing the delivery of these services.
Job Duties
- Leadership - Provide strong positive leadership to the Network and Operations teams.
- Relationships - Build and maintain positive, collaborative working relationships throughout the Company.
- Supervision - Supervise the Network and Operations teams, including providing technical direction and expertise and managing performance, attendance, timecards, and schedules.
- Issue Resolution - Diagnose and resolve technical and process issues. Continuously improve team issue resolution quality and response.
- Projects - Identify, propose, budget, plan, manage, and drive large and small projects to improve team operations and accelerate overall company success.
- Partners Select and manage vendors, including risk, compliance, contracts, relationships, and activities.
- Inventory and Standards - Manage technology asset inventory and standards. Work with management and purchasing to update and develop technology standards and plan for and procure necessary assets.
- Policies and Procedures - Develop and maintain documented policies and procedures covering all aspects of network and endpoint security, operations, change control, and team practices.
- Risk Reduction Develop, maintain, and execute technologies, education, and practices to secure company, customer, and consumer information and maximize system availability.
- Environment Work effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Provide advanced level and on-call support as needed.
- Performs other similar or associated duties as necessary to accomplish job objectives in an effective manner as assigned by Management or as responsibilities necessitate.
Education/Experience Required To Perform The Job
- 3+ years of proven IT people and project management experience.
- College degree in computer science or information technology or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft network and desktop technology, and common network and communications technologies.
- Experience with cloud computing technologies and environments.
- Experience with NIST, ISO, SOC, PCI, GLBA, CCPA, FISMA, HIPAA or other security-related protocols, standards, frameworks, and practices.
- Knowledge of IBM iSeries.
