Job Description:
Accenture Federal Services (AFS) Defense and Intelligence Portfolio seeks DevSecOps Cloud Solution Engineers. We are looking for passionate individuals with strong technical expertise, business analysis skills, and a knack for customer engagement to deliver exceptional capabilities to our clients. If selected, you will join an elite team of AI/ML enthusiasts who design, build, and support the next generation of national security applications and service solutions for our clients.
In this position, you will utilize AWS and other cloud services to assist in delivering cutting-edge graph-based machine-learning operation (MLOps) solutions for our federal clients. Your responsibilities will include designing, engineering, and deploying cloud infrastructure and services across multiple security domains, creating reference architectures and cloud-native designs, and enabling provisioning automation. The ideal candidate should feel comfortable participating in technical and mission requirements meetings and conversations and be self-motivated to pursue continuous improvement. A successful candidate will also enjoy tackling exciting problems and collaborating with other members of our engineering teams to support high-profile, complex, technical deliverables. Your role will involve supporting capability deliveries to meet the increasing demand of government customers.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with software architects and data scientists to ensure that DevSecOps and MLOps practices are aligned with architectural and model objectives.
- Proficiency in managing AWS platforms and optimizing cloud services
- Skilled in utilizing automation tools for efficient infrastructure management
- Expertise in implementing robust security measures to safeguard data and systems
- Provide essential consulting services related to containerization and DevSecOps methodologies, supporting both internal team members and external clients.
- Within the DevSecOps environment, ensure the identification, evaluation, and integration of novel tools and technologies to optimize and streamline operational processes, maximizing efficiency and advancing the automation landscape.
- Develop and execute robust DevSecOps & MLOps strategies aligned with mission objectives, emphasizing security integration throughout the development lifecycle.
- Analyze and resolve system issues, participate in incident response, and implement preventive measures to minimize future occurrences.
- Monitor, enhance, and maintain system performance, uptime, and response time, encompassing machine learning model deployments.
- Stay informed about industry trends, actively contribute to DevSecOps & MLOps AFS horizontally aligned teams, and share knowledge.
- Design and implement continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for software and machine learning projects utilizing tools such as Jenkins, Git, or Artifactory.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues on build processes, deployments, and machine learning pipelines.
- Obtain and maintain DoD 8570 Level I certifications and comply with other applicable Computing Environment (CE) certification requirements.
Here's what you need:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or relevant technical area, or 6+ years of professional IT experience, or a diverse background of experience that can be considered equivalent.
- 3+ years of industry experience working with AWS cloud-based solutions.
- 2+ years of experience with scripting using languages such as but not limited to Python.
- 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code using tools like CloudFormation and Terraform.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience working with SIGINT data
- 8570 IAT Level II Certification and/or a relevant Computing Environment Certification, preferably from AWS.
- Cloud Certifications: Associate or Professional Level
- Expertise in build automation and continuous integration/delivery ecosystem tools such as Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, Docker, and Nexus.
- Experience in cloud security, including intrusion detection, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning.
- Knowledge of server/application hardening or familiarity with Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) concepts.
Security Clearance:
- Active TS/SCI with a polygraph US Government security clearance is required

California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
