RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and develop complex requirements to accomplish business goals.
- Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
- Apply enterprise standards for solution design, coding, and quality.
- Ensure solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt.
- Take on compliance, security items, and audit support at the team level.
- Act as a liaison for production activities/issues.
- Work with product owners to ensure that product backlog/requirements are healthy, with clear acceptance criteria.
- Work with platform team to make sure software developed is deployed and provide post-production warranty/support if required.
- Design and develop solution architectures to scale backend systems using Java, Python, and .Net Technologies.
- Design and develop new proof of concept projects to enhance current software systems to handle increased traffic and larger datasets with cutting edge technologies including Kafka and Redis.
- Develop data reports on Finastra LoanIQ data model using SQL queries.
- Develop production ready APIs using Microservices architecture on Finastra LoanIQ.
- Develop automated scheduled data load jobs using Autosys job scheduler.
- Support production deployment of softwares developed using CI/CD tools including Jenkins, XLR, and Ansible Tower.
- Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related; and
- 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.
- Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:
- Designing and developing solution architectures to scale backend systems using Java, Python, and .Net Technologies;
- Designing and developing new proof of concept projects to enhance current software systems to handle increased traffic and larger datasets with cutting edge technologies including Kafka and Redis;
- Developing data reports on Finastra LoanIQ data model using SQL queries;
- Developing production ready APIs using Microservices architecture on Finastra LoanIQ;
- Developing automated scheduled data load jobs using Autosys job scheduler; and,
- Supporting production deployment of softwares developed using CI/CD tools including Jenkins, XLR, and Ansible Tower.
- The employer will accept 2 years of IT experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree in a stated field.
