General Position Summary:
Systems administrators should possess strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills, in addition to in-depth technical knowledge of the employer’s systems hardware and software. Employer requirements vary depending on system complexity, the types of operating and network systems being supported, and the size of the organization. Though some employers require a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, others may accept an associate’s degree or technical training certificate. Three to five years of experience working with the specific types of hardware and software systems used by the company are generally required. Professional certifications such as the Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or Sun Certified System Administrator (SCSA) may be commonly sought by employers.
Essential Job Functions:
Installing operating system software, patches and upgrades.
Analyzing, troubleshooting and resolving system hardware, software and networking issues.
Configuring, optimizing, fine-tuning and monitoring operating system software and servers.
Performing system backups and recovery.
Conducting server builds.
Telephone System
Manages and maintains the company’s telephone system including international line, and conference call system.
Plans, recommends, and assists in the design of telecommunications systems.
Troubleshoots and resolves telecommunications related problems.
IT Administration and Other & Miscellaneous
Oversees and helps to enforce IT policies and procedures.
Suggests areas for improvement in internal process along with possible solutions.
Acts as a liaison between NAII and Parent Company on operation of the ERP system.
Any other IT tasks as assigned by Management.
Education & Work Experience
7+ years Systems Administration experience. Industry Certifications preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and coordination skills.
Working knowledge of LAN/WAN, Internet, e-mail system, telecommunications and data communications, software packages, proper record maintenance, and storage in IT environments.
Ability and willingness to travel on work assignments.

Microsoft 365 Administration. Installing, patching, and upgrading workstations, servers, switches, firewalls, SD-WANs, VOIP telecommunications, and other supporting hardware. Experience in the setup and management of Virtual and Cloud-based environments. This includes VMware, Hyper-V, and Azure. VMware and Microsoft certification preferred.,
What operating systems and servers will this role be working with the most? Windows 10/11, Windows Server. Experience configuring and supporting WAN/LAN/VLAN infrastructures for the Company’s Corporate location as well as a remote site.,
