Modern It has a team of inside sales representatives and lead generators that work together to attract leads and generate appointments for you! Essential Functions and Responsibilities
· Leverage existing relationships with business owners and C-level executives throughout Kansas City by making direct face to face contact.
· Ability to properly articulate Modern IT’s service offering to the prospect and qualify the opportunity.
· Strong professional discovery and presentation skills.
· Experience presenting to business owners.
· Be able to follow the sales process and fulfill the responsibilities defined in the process.
· Attend networking events to build Modern IT’s brand and name recognition.
· Assist in building the sales pipeline through cold calling and networking.
· Team player who can work with multiple departments.
Placement Criteria
· Proven experience engaging business owners and C-level executives.
· Strong sales acumen and formal sales training.
· Proven track record of previous sales success- achieving sales goals with a metric-oriented system.
· Working knowledge of technology basics principles and the ability to apply them to business situations.
· Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and ability to work independently and prioritize work.
· Great communication skills and strong ability to impact all levels within and outside of the organization.
· Mission-driven personality including self-management and motivation.
· Fearless attitude - ability to overcome objections without giving up.
