Network Engineer
The IT Manufacturing Site Support Analyst / LAN position has on-site support responsibility for all IT related functions by performing activities pertaining to information technology and business unit objectives in a Manufacturing Facility. More specifically, this role will perform tasks requiring on-site support for basic and intermediate level requests for applications, IT devices, maintain & configure network devices, and infrastructure support per the responsibilities listed. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for adding new devices, port configuration, turning ports on and off, troubleshooting network issues, wiring issues, this contractor’s secondary role will be operations support, supporting the plan operations, different applications, desktop support, some label work.
- Interaction level with the team – working with others all the time, taking customer calls, directly interacting with employees.Other responsibilities will include desktop support, application support, and computer room operations support.
- Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights.
- Must be willing to rotate shifts between first and second shifts.
Top 3 Skills:
- 2 years Cisco Experience
- 2 years of experience with routers and switches
- Working in large environments, manufacturing/warehouse experience
Required Skills:
- Degree Required – Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Degree/school
- Years of experience – at least 2 years of experience
- Manufacturing/warehouse experience
Location: Kansas City, KS | 100% Onsite
Shift: Rotating Shifts | 1st shift for two weeks (6:00AM - 3:00PM) | 2nd shift for one week (4PM - 1:00AM)
Duration: 12+ month W2 Contract
Pay Rate: ~$35/hr
