Manager of Network Services

RedStream Technology is recruiting for a Network Manager to work for our client, leading their network engineering and network operations team.
Responsibilities
• Supervise the network engineering and operations functions of the team, ensuring high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and feedback to team members, fostering teamwork and sharing of information
• Ensure that the documentation of the network, including diagrams, processes, standards, and policies, are maintained and updated
• Assist with the budget planning and management of network resources and expenditures
• Ensure that the network projects are aligned with the business objectives and delivered on time and within scope
• Manage the team's key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on the network performance and availability
• Ensure that the change management process is followed and enforced, minimizing risks and disruptions to the network
• Collaborate with the Manager of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and other cross-functional teams to ensure the network security, reliability, and scalability
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• At least 5 years of experience in network engineering and operations, preferably in a large and complex environment
• At least 2 years of experience in leading and managing a team of network professionals
• Strong knowledge of network technologies, protocols, standards, and best practices, such as TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VPN, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, QoS, SNMP, etc.
• Proficient in network design, troubleshooting, and optimization tools and techniques
• Experience in network security, compliance, and auditing
• Experience in network project management, budgeting, and vendor management
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are preferred
